SPOTLIGHT

Between the EPCI 2015 and 2017 Sofidel notably reduced waste to landfill and made notable steps forward in the section EMS/reporting.

WWF values high recycled fibre levels in tissue products which is reflected in the scoring method. Use of recycled fibres for short-lived and end of life-cycle products such as tissue plays an important role in resource efficiency.

“We believe in transparency. Developing relations based on transparency and collaboration with stakeholders is one key part of Sofidel's efforts to help build a more sustainable society.” - Luigi Lazzareschi, CEO, Sofidel
